I believe that a birth is a beautiful and powerful transformation for families. It is an experience that can set the stage for the rest of the parenting journey. My role as your doula is to create an emotional and physical environment in which your feel safe and nurtured. I have always believed in the strength of women supporting women. I have volunteered for Planned Parenthood in trauma counseling, mentored for at- risk youth programs, taught preschool, and recently founded a non-profit organization to provide doula support to families experiencing the loss of a child. Throughout this work, the strength of women of all ages continues to shine. Services / Skills Bereavement support during loss or in subsequent pregnancy; nassage during labor; positions for labor; VBAC support; homeopathy; conversation Spanish; lending library; sibling support; childcare; phone/email support; video loan; postpartum care; infant care; postpartum mood disorder support; breastfeeding support; cloth diaper experience; counseling; nutrition counseling for vegetarian/ vegan; guidance in relaxation/visualization. Education UW-Green Bay and UW-Madison to earn BS in Biology with an emphasis in Education, birth doula DONA workshop, postpartum DONA workshop (currently working on certification in both), continuing education in Early Childhood, CPR and First Aid certified.
